Mi è bastato vedere l’immagine del profilo di Pamela Dzaet Hill per sapere che avrei adorato i suoi quadri. Meno di 100 pixel. Dando una rapida scorsa alle sue pics, non ho potuto che confermare quella prima impressione. Colletti inamidati, visi pallidi in cui spiccano piccoli occhi penetranti e inquietanti, capelli quasi sempre rossi, sciolti e ribelli o raccolti, a formare acconciature complesse e artificiose. Regine che rimandano all’immaginario shakespereano ed alla sua sovrana protettrice in particolare: Elisabetta Prima. E poi rami, corvi, echi di foreste misteriose e affascinanti.

Un’arte che si odia o si ama alla follia. Per me è assoluto amore.

I just look at the profile picture of Pamela Dzaet Hill to know that I loved her art. Less than 100 pixels. Looking at her pics, I could only confirm that first impression. Big collars, white faces with small piercing and scary eyes,  hair often red, loose and rebels or collected to form complex and artificial hairdos. Queens recalling the Shakespeare’s imaginary, and in particular Elizabeth The First. And branches, crows, echoes of mysterious and fascinating forests.

A kind of art that you hate or love at the first sight. For me is absolutely love!
