Abbiamo già parlato di Licia Woods e delle sue bellissime creazioni qui. Il caso ha voluto che dopo qualche mese ci trovassimo all’inaugurazione di eHy Shop! e le toccassimo con mano.

Licia è cresciuta, le sue bags mostrano con chiarezza questa maturità stilistica e di gusto. Le proporzioni e i colori sono azzeccati e perfetti, le limited edition (sempre più frequenti, come l’ultima con Becake Art), delle vere chicche per appassionati e collezionisti di oggetti unici. Per questo inverno 11/12 poi, accanto alla classica bow bag compare un inedito modello clutch: buste in vinile, feltro, ecopelle accostati con il solito gusto vengono impreziositi da un fiocco/maniglia, che decora e rende più comodo reggere la borsa quando piena. Il prezzo poi (dai 50 ai 60 euro a seconda delle versioni) non può che ingolosire ancora di più.

 We have already spoken of Licia Woods and her beautiful creations here. The chance would have that after a few months we were at the opening of eHy Shop! and touched that with our hands.

Licia has grown, and her bags clearly show this maturity of style and taste. The proportions and colors are well chosen and perfect, the limited edition (increasingly frequent, as the last with Becake Art), the real goodies for fans and collectors of unique items. For this winter 11/12  next to the classic bow bag appears a new clutch model: vinyl, felt, leather combined with the usual style is embellished with a bow/handle, that decorating and makes the bag more comfortable to hold when full. The price (from 50 to 60 euros depending on the version) can only enticed more.

Oggi vi voglio parlare di un progetto che amo particolarmente. 100% made in Italy, fatti a mano, curatissimi e originali. Il coraggioso lavoro di Licia Woods mi ha subito colpita, ed eccomi qui a mettere Wait! al servizio della sua creatività, per mostrarla e darve a tutti la possibilità di amarla.

Tema ricorrente il fiocco, che da forma alle borse e impreziosisce le t-shirt. Colorato, in bianco e nero, con inserti, applicazioni. In vinile o tessuti preziosi. Vi lascio un po’ di foto. Per qualunque info non esitate a contattarla!

Today I want to talk you about a project that I particularly like. 100% made in Italy, hand-made, well-kept and very original. The courageous work of Licia Woods immediately hit me, and I’m putting Wait! in service of her creativity, to show them and give everyone a chance to love her.

The bow is the recurring theme, which gives shape to the bags and embellished to the t-shirt. Colored, black and white, with inserts or applications. Vinyl or fabrics. I leave you some photos. For any info please don’t hesitate to contact Licia!

Nella sezione “Lock” troviamo AmazonLife, storico brand brasiliano di borse e accessori, acquistato nel 2007 da Braccialini per il rilancio sul mercato globale. La particolarità di queste borse sta nel fatto che la loro materia prima è la gomma vegetale. Amazonife compra questa gomma da decine di famiglie indigene che vivono della raccolta di questo versatile materiale. I raccoglitori (“sangueiros”) passano sei mesi all’anno nel buio della foresta estraendo la gomma dalla corteccia degli alberi della gomma. In Italia poi la gomma viene lavorata ed assemblata con materiali naturali e reciclati dando vita ad una collezione Made in Italy. Comprando la gomma vegetale dai sangueiros AmazonLife contribuisce a preservare più di 900.000 ettari di Foresta Amazzonica, e aiuta a prevenirne la deforestazione. Un esempio perfetto di come sia possibile estrarre materiali e risorse dalla natura senza danneggiarla.

In the section “Lock” we find AmazonLife, historic Brazilian brand of handbags and accessories, purchased in 2007 from Braccialini for the relaunch on the global market. The particularity of these bags is that tare made by vegetable rubber. Amazonife buy this rubber from dozens of indigenous families that living of the extraction of this versatile material. The collectors (called sangueiros) spend six months a year in the darkness of the forest by removing the rubber from the trunk of rubber trees. In Italy that rubber is processed and assembled with natural and recycled materials, creating a collection of made in Italy bags. By purchasing vegetable rubber from the sangueiros AmazonLife helps to preserve over 900,000 acres of Amazon Rainforest and contributes to prevent deforestation. A perfect example that is possible to extract resources and materials from nature without damaging it.
