Non ho mai amato sneakers del genere Bikkembergs, eppure queste Cruyff Classics mi stanno ‘stimolando’ positivamente. Iniziamo a dire che non è un brand nato ieri: la storia inizia dagli anni 70 quando Cruyff, chiese al leggendario Emidio Lazzarini (fondatore di Pantofola D’Oro e straordinario artigiano della calzatura), suo caro amico, di realizzare per lui una serie di scarpe da calcio firmate col suo nome. Nacque la linea Cruyff, vestita poi da campioni quali Van Basten. Cruyff, straordinario atleta sul campo è stato a tutti gli effetti il primo vero dandy nel calcio. La sua linea ha subito uno stop per qualche anno, ora è stata ripresa da circa 5 anni, per rilanciarla come una linea casual di calzature indirizzata verso un pubblico selezionato. Il primo mercato, è chiaramente l’Olanda, patria di Cruyff, e dove l’azienda ha sede, seguono, Spagna, Inghilterra e l’Italia, che sta arrivando (e per cui distribuisce ASAP).
Abbiamo modelli con tomaia in 100% pelle ed altri in un mix di pelle e mesh. Gli accostamenti di colore sono sempre azzaccati e accattivanti. La qualità è top. Potrebbe diventare un prossimo must…quindi occhi aperti.

I have never loved sneakers of Bikkermberg’s style. These Cruyff Classics could be juxtaposed with such kind of shoes. But I must say that I like them. Maybe, that’s why they are nice and have also a big history behind them. This is not a brand born yesterday. The story dates back in the 70′s when dutch football champion Cruyff (also know as the first dandy in football world) became friend of Emidio Lazzarini (shoe artisan and former founder of Pantofola D’Oro). Johan asked Lazzarini to create some soccer shoes signed with his name. The story began and many champions as Marco Van Basten played with Cruyff shoes. After some years the production ceased. Now, about 5 years ago, a Dutch company acquired the brand and launched it again. They are doing a very good job. Nice colors, great quality. We have full leather pairs and leather and mesh mixed ones. The first market (as its obvious) is Holland, then follow  Spain  (Cruyff played there!), England and now Italy is coming. Keep an eye open on Cruyff Classic…this could be the next must have.
